Kitsilano Workout is proud to offer this unique dance class that combines several components of dance, a traditional high/low aerobics class and a body sculpting class in a seamless flow. Members love this fun and exhilarating class!
The class starts with a ballet stretch warm up and continues with an intense cardio segment for 20 to 25 minutes, emphasizing flow and a connection with the music. The post-cardio period is dance inspired, with body sculpting using hand weights and working all of the muscle groups while maintaining a post cardio target heart rate. The class continues with a 10 minute abdominal and core workout followed with exercises focusing on the buttocks and thighs and finishes off with a meditative slow stretch.
