Total Body Conditioning (TBC)

Kitsilano Workout offers Total Body Conditioning, a way for members to get a challenging muscle strength and conditioning workout, plus a cardio workout utilizing the step, all in one! One of the main benefits is the care and instruction given by the teacher on proper form and expanding the participant’s knowledge of strength activities that they can incorporate into their own training programs. It is hard for busy people to find the time to get their workouts in! This is a way, in one hour flat, to get your cardio and body sculpting workout “fait de complis”!

This is an all levels class, suitable for all participants. It is a challenging muscular strength and endurance workout for the entire body using hand weights, tubes, and easy to follow step drills as well. A great combination of strength and cardio, and no tricky choreography to worry about!

  1. Combining strength and cardio is a great way to maximize fat burn.
  2. The more tone you are, especially in the core, (the muscles in your abdominal and lower back area) the more sturdy and balanced you are. More graceful and less apt to injury.
